Our Sweet Son
This online memorial was created in loving memory of Jackson Maples, whose life story is told throughout this memorial website. Please sign Jackson's guest book and let us know you came to visit. We will remember Jackson forever.
Jackson chose to leave this earth on April 28th, 2015. He had fought the good fight against depression for 8 years. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew, and a friend to all he met. He was giving, loyal, compassionate and had a big heart for people and animals. He loved his family and friends deeply, he cared deeply. He was not made for this world and is now at peace. His family and friends miss him very much but will always remember him as unselfish, kind, gentle and always ready to listen.
Jackson was able to help others in his short 26 years and performed CPR on a friend that had stopped breathing. His friend lived because of Jackson's quick cool thinking. We cannot understand why a wonderful person like Jackson would make a decision to end his life. All I do know is that depression is real and can alter your way of thinking in a rational manner. Jackson had a purpose on this earth and the young man for whom he saved his life is a happy man today because Jackson lived.
